Following on from the success of the L’Oréal Pure Clay Masks last year, they have since released two new products and of course, I had to get my hands on them. This time however, I didn’t go too crazy and only bought the one.
My skin has been going through an awful lot lately (not quite sure why) so I’ve stopped wearing make-up on a regular basis and only wear it if I’m going out somewhere that requires me to look ‘presentable’ – work lot, I apologise for the dead face you have to see every day, ha! And of course, water. Making sure I’m drinking plenty of it to help keep my skin hydrated.
Long story short, I decided it was time to start using face masks on a regular basis once again and thought it best I try a new one and stick to that only. Coincidentally, this was right about the time L’Oréal released their new range. I decided to go with the blue one, just because I wanted to look like an Avatar (kidding!)
Considering all the marks and blemishes that my face has been struggling with lately, I thought it best I go with the one that states it helps that. It’s just as rich and creamy as the initial three they had released and it super concentrated in colour (love that!) – actually makes me feel like I’ve got a face mask on. Again, a small amount goes a long way with these face masks so you’re bound to get this to last you a while before you’re required a top up.
I’ve followed the instructions and have used it twice a week for the past 3 weeks now and I’m definitely noticing a difference now. I didn’t notice it straight away but of course, no product works that amazingly and shows its magic straight away. The blemishes and marks on my face left from spots have now started to fade away, although not gone completely yet. I’ve also noticed that I’m not getting the odd random spot on my face anymore too AND… something I wasn’t expecting at all, this has been great to help with the blackheads on my nose. What a treat!
I think I’ve finally found the one mask for me and this time I promise that I will stick to just the one and do my skin a favour. This retails at £7.99, which is a decent price in my eyes for a quality brand and quality product (though, the inner Indian in me will always keep an eye out for when it’s on sale! – which is now for £5.99!!!)
Have you used this product or any of the other new L’Oréal masks? What were your thoughts? Share your story 🙂
