NEW! L’Oréal Pure Clay Face Wash

Oh my gosh.

Guys. It’s happened.
L’Oréal have done it again!

After the excitement and success of the Pure Clay Masks, L’Oréal decided to release a new collection of ‘Pure Clay Face Wash’ – how exciting?!

I’d no idea they were releasing these bad boys. I was in Boots one early morning on my way to work and saw these sitting on the shelf. Now you can just imagine how excited I got. Didn’t think twice and just bagged it boy. Unfortunately, they only had 2 out of 3 the first time I went. Believe me when I tell you, I visited EVERY single boots in Central, every single day until I finally came across the third one – and so I did!

Dedication right there.
I bought these whilst they were on offer for £3.99, otherwise they retail at £5.99 each. Pricey huh? I’ll keep a look out to see when they’re on offer and I’ll be sure to let you all know (currently they are so hurry!)

This was the last face wash I bought.
I was most excited about this one as the clay mask version of this was my absolute favourite.

Yep, you’ve guessed it. This is my favourite face wash also from the Pure Clay collection by L’Oréal. It’s super runny when you’re squeezing it out of the bottle so make sure to catch it all before you drip any. It’s super slimy and massages really well into your skin.

It smells exactly like the mask and I laav it. It’s quite cold when you apply it and feels super sticky and smooth at the same time.

The results? Damn goody good. It’s the perfect thing to use after having make up on the entire day. It washes it away so well, leaving your skin not only looking fresh, but also feeling fresh, and smooth, and clean. Oh, I could just go on and on and on.

Highly recommend you all to buy this – especially those who wear a face full of make up on a daily basis.

Pure Clay was the first Clay Mask that I bought and also the first Clay Wash.

The mask – amazing.
The face wash – well…

You know how there’s eucalyptus in the face mask and it creates that amazing tingly sensation on your face once applied? Well, that doesn’t exist in this face wash. There’s extracts of eucalyptus in the face wash but not once did I feel that tingling sensation of my face when I used it. I don’t know why.

This for me was a huge bummer because I love that feeling, and obviously expected to feel it but I didn’t. Huge disappointment in that sense.

The results however were just like the face mask, really good. It honestly clears your skin up, and makes it look fresh and clean from the first wash. Using this on a daily basis can only make your skin look freggin superb I’m guessing.

Fine Flower.

This was meant for dry and sensitive skin – exactly my skin boy. This does exactly what it states, cleanses, purifies and softens.

I didn’t smell any rose of jasmine whilst applying this but this also is a really slimy one, and I mean REALLY slimy. It was slipping all over my hands when I squeezed it out of the bottle but because of this, it really does glide all over your face so perfectly. You’re able to cover your entire face so quickly and still have loads left over to massage into your face.

It foams quite nicely when you use a face brush to wash your face, and you can just feel your skin getting softer by the second. The mask version of this is meant to glow your skin but this wasn’t made for that, yet somehow it does manage to make your skin glow a little. Or maybe I’m just imagining things..

I really liked all 3 of these. Despite the good and the bad, they were great.

I’m always up for trying something new, especially if it’s by L’Oréal. I use their masks, their face wash and also their moisturiser. Seriously love their skin care products. I’d high recommend it to you all and hope you love it just as much as I do.
